The Solidarity Series

The Solidarity Series is an ongoing live performance platform dedicated to both furthering the development and increasing the visibility of tap dance as it relates to jazz music in efforts to uphold the principles of their connection.
The series is now working towards its fifth iteration having already investigated the music of several jazz greats including Billie Holiday, Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis and Mary Lou Williams.
With improvisation at the forefront, The Solidarity Series makes space for tap dancers and musicians to create together in solidarity.
